Signing-first, not an afterthought

Most form tools bury signing.
We lead with it.

On other builders, an e-signature is one field among thirty — no audit trail, no certificate, no real workflow. tuyaform treats every document as a send-and-sign job that produces proof you can stand behind.

How it works

From document to done in three steps

No printing, no scanning, no chasing. Just create, send, and collect a sealed PDF.

1

Build or upload

Start from a template, build a form from scratch, or upload a PDF. Drag signature, date and text fields exactly where they belong.

2

Send for signature

Share a link or email it to one or many signers. Set the signing order and choose how each signer verifies their identity.

3

Get the sealed PDF

Everyone signs from any device. You get a tamper-evident PDF plus a Certificate of Completion — automatically.

Everything you need to sign

A complete e-signature platform — at $0

The trust machinery the cheap incumbents only assert, built in and shown — plus a real form builder underneath.

Send to sign

Upload a PDF or build a form, drop in signature, date and initials fields, and email it for signature — from any device.

Multiple signers & order

Route a document to several signers in sequence or all at once. Everyone gets the final, completed copy.

Immutable audit trail

Every send, view, and signature is timestamped with IP and device — a server-side log you can prove.

Certificate of Completion

A signed PDF arrives with a certificate listing every signer, method, time and IP. Court-admissible evidence.

Tamper-evident seal

Documents are cryptographically sealed at completion. Any later change breaks the seal — instantly detectable.

Signer authentication

Verify identity with email links, SMS one-time codes, access codes or MFA. Dial assurance up as you need it.

Sign with no account

Recipients sign in their browser — no signup, no app, no watermark. The lowest-friction signing anywhere.

Signing-first templates

NDAs, leases, waivers, consent forms and more — fillable, ready to send, and free to use.

Real form builder, too

Drag-and-drop fields, conditional logic, multiple pages and mobile-ready layouts. Forms that collect and sign.

Proof, not promises

Every signature comes with receipts

We don't just claim your documents are binding — we show the evidence on every completed file.

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is a contract in which one or both parties agree to keep specified information confidential and not share it with outsiders. It's commonly used before discussing sensitive business details, like product plans, customer lists, or financials. The NDA defines what counts as confidential, how it can be used, and how long the obligation lasts.

Residential Lease Agreement

A residential lease agreement is a contract between a landlord and a tenant that sets the terms for renting a home, apartment, or room. It spells out the rent, the term, the deposit, and the rules both sides agree to follow. Once signed, it gives each party a clear, enforceable record of the deal.

Liability Waiver (Release of Liability)

A liability waiver, also called a release of liability, is a document in which one person agrees not to hold another person or business responsible for certain risks, injuries, or losses tied to an activity or service. Signing it shows the participant understood the risks and voluntarily accepted them. It's commonly used before activities that carry some chance of injury or property damage.

Informed Consent Form

An informed consent form documents that a person understands a proposed procedure, treatment, study, or service — including its purpose, risks, benefits, and alternatives — and agrees to it voluntarily. It records who consented, to what, and when, so both parties have a clear, signed reference.

Independent Contractor Agreement

An independent contractor agreement is a written contract between a business (the client) and a self-employed worker (the contractor) that defines the services, payment, timeline, and the terms of their working relationship. It confirms the contractor is not an employee, which affects taxes, benefits, and who owns the finished work. It protects both sides by putting the scope, fees, and expectations in writing before the work starts.

Photo & Media Release Form

A photo and media release form is a written agreement in which a person grants permission to use their image, video, voice, or likeness for specified purposes. It documents who is being photographed or recorded, how the media may be used, and that consent was given before publication.

Service Agreement

A service agreement is a contract between a service provider and a client that spells out the work to be done, what it costs, and the terms both sides agree to. It sets clear expectations on scope, payment, timelines, and responsibilities so there's a written record if anything is ever in question.

Field Trip Permission Slip

A field trip permission slip is a short consent form a school or organization sends to a parent or legal guardian, asking them to authorize a student's participation in an off-site activity. It records who is giving permission, for which trip, on what date, and often includes emergency contact and medical details. Signing it confirms the parent has read the trip information and agrees to let the student attend.

Questions

Free, binding, and ad-supported — answered

Are e-signatures actually legally binding?

Yes. In the US, the ESIGN Act and UETA give electronic signatures the same legal effect as handwritten ones, and in the EU, eIDAS does the same across member states. A signature cannot be denied legal effect simply because it is electronic. tuyaform is designed to capture the four pillars courts look for, intent to sign, consent to do business electronically, attribution to the signer, and a retainable record, so your signed documents hold up. A small set of document types (such as wills and certain court or family-law documents) are excluded and should be handled on paper; see our legality page for details. This is general information, not legal advice.

Is tuyaform really free, with no catch?

Yes, tuyaform is free forever for unlimited signing. There is no per-document fee, no signature limit, and no credit card required. We make money from ads instead of subscriptions, which is what lets us keep core signing free for everyone rather than gating it behind a paywall.

How do the ads work, and do they affect my documents?

Ads are lazy-loaded and shown below the fold, so they never get in the way of building or signing a document and never appear on the signed PDF itself. They are contextual and privacy-respecting, we do not read the contents of your documents to target ads, and we never sell or share your document data with advertisers. The ad revenue is simply what funds unlimited free signing instead of charging a subscription.

What makes a tuyaform document tamper-evident?

When signing is complete, we seal the final PDF and compute a SHA-256 cryptographic hash of it. If even one character of the document changes afterward, the hash no longer matches and the seal is broken, making any tampering immediately detectable. Every completed document also includes a Certificate of Completion and an audit trail so anyone can verify it has not been altered since it was signed.

Can I send a document to multiple signers?

Yes. You can add multiple signers to a single document and choose whether they sign in a set order (sequential) or all at once (parallel). Each signer gets their own unique, secure signing link, and the audit trail records each person's actions, view, consent, and signature, separately. Once everyone has signed, all parties receive the completed, sealed PDF.

Do the people I send to need an account to sign?

No. Signers do not need to create an account or download anything. They receive a secure link, open the document in their browser on any device, and sign in a few clicks. Requiring no signup removes friction so your documents get signed faster, while email verification and optional access codes still tie each signature to the right person.

What is the difference between SES, AES, and QES?

These are the three e-signature tiers defined by the EU's eIDAS regulation. A Simple Electronic Signature (SES) is the everyday e-signature most agreements use and is what tuyaform provides by default. An Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) adds stronger, uniquely-linked signer identification, which tuyaform can support with additional identity verification. A Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) carries the highest assurance and the legal equivalence of a handwritten signature in the EU, but it requires a qualified certificate from a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP); tuyaform does not issue QES on its own.

How do you keep my documents secure?

We encrypt documents in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256, seal completed PDFs with a tamper-evident SHA-256 hash, and enforce least-privilege, role-based access so only you and your intended recipients can see a document. Records are backed up redundantly and we align our controls with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 practices. See our security page for the full list of measures and certifications.
